New Staff.
 We have a new receptionist at Ibstock. . . Sharon. And Caroline has returned and will be working at Ibstock and Barlestone as a Health Care Assistant/Admin Clerk from Feb 2008.

Telephone Consultations
If you feel that your problem can be dealt with on the phone, then please tell the receptionist who will take your name and phone number. The Doctor will then call you during or at the end of morning Surgery.

Barlestone Surgery
This Surgery is now open on Wednesday afternoon from 1.30pm to 4.30pm with one Doctor and one Nurse in attendance.

Physiotherapist
We are now running a three month trial and will have a Physiotherapist,available for appointments, at the Ibstock Surgery on Wednesdays from 1.30pm. These will be pirely Assessment Appointments.
 
Minibus
We are trying to arrange a Minibus Service on Monday, Tuesday and Friday between 10am and 1230pm. This will hopefully help those patients living in or near Bagworth who wish to go to Barlestone Surgery.

 Job Swaps.
We have decided that it is important for our Doctors and Nurses to understand the demands of all sections within the Surgery so, there could be times when your normal telephone call will be answered by a Doctor or Nurse instead of the usual Receptionist.

Extended Hours
From March 1st, as a 3 month trial, we shall be working extended hours at Ibstock but ONLY for Emergency Appointments . . . . no routine enquiries will be dealt with during these hours.
Friday evening. . . . . . from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm
Saturday morning.. . . . . . . 8.00 am to 12 noon
Sunday morning.................8.00 am to 12 noon.

If this trial is not successful, then after the three months, it will be terminated.
