There are two main Village Groups other than those listed under different headings.
B.O.C.A.
This is the Barlestone and Osbaston Community Association which organises various events in and for our Village, and the neighbouring village of Osbaston. It is run by a hard-working committee and is always on the lookout for extra help and ideas. In the past, they have arranged Gala Days, complete with Decorated Floats, and all sorts of other events of interest. Visit their page on this site using the navigation on the right.
F.O.B.S.
This is the Friends of Barlestone School which is again run by a hardworking committee and is committed to fund-raising events for the benefit of the School and its pupils.
There are also a number of Neighbourhood Watch groups in the village, the main ones being Barton Road and Little Mill Close, and Newbold Road.
